Finance & Payment Operations Lead
AI-native fintech seeks a hands-on Finance & Payment Operations Lead with 5+ years of experience in fintech/payment industry. Remote-first in Europe, competitive salary + equity.
The team is building its own payment infrastructure for European merchants, with core banking, ledger, and payment gateway already deployed. The company is a direct participant in international payment systems and is in the active phase of licensing CBC (Cyprus) and FCA (UK). M&A is also being considered as a market entry accelerator. The company is pre-launch (planned launch - summer 2026).
5+ years in fintech/payment industry Practical experience with international payment systems (Visa/Mastercard) at the level of reconciliation, settlement, understanding interaction schemes Experience in acquiring (merchants, MID, onboarding) Knowledge of EMI/PSP regulations and safeguarding principles Understanding of payment infrastructure (processing, core banking, fund flow, reconciliation)
Remote-first: Europe or close time zones (excluding RF/RB) Valid residence permit in any country required for employment Competitive salary + equity (based on expectations and grade) Direct contact with founders and high ownership
