Team Lead Environment 3D Artist

HolyPoly is looking for an experienced Environment Team Lead to manage a team of 3D artists working on world-renowned projects like EuroTruck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Responsibilities include task distribution, quality control, and team development. The role is based in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, or Astana, with remote and hybrid options available.

With years of involvement in developing the world's most famous truck simulators, EuroTruck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, our team creates detailed, immersive, and memorable game environments. You will collaborate closely with artists, game designers, and programmers to build engaging worlds for players globally. Responsibilities: — Managing a team of environment 3D artists of varying levels — Organizing work and controlling the quality of the team's output, as well as ensuring their professional growth — Filling knowledge gaps within the team regarding modeling and project work

— Deep knowledge in 3D modeling, from working with references to presenting results; ability to work with various modeling and texturing packages, as well as different pipelines, constraints, and specifics — Confident knowledge of Autodesk Maya — Experience working on game projects — Ability to work in a team and with a team, delegation skills, and assessment of individual tasks; ability to draw conclusions about the team's work and subsequently integrate solutions for problem areas into the workflow — Excellent communication and team leadership skills — Commitment to professional development and self-improvement Will be a big plus: — You are known for your artistic understanding — English language proficiency sufficient for communication with an international team — Experience in successfully implemented game projects — Love for the gaming industry, game deconstruction, and a desire to learn and bring new game development trends and tools into the team's workflow
