Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer (85% backend) for an AI-native fintech startup building an EMI and payment infrastructure for European merchants. Remote-first, Eurozone only, B2B contract, up to $6,000 gross.

The team is building an AI-native fintech startup from scratch: an EMI (Electronic Money Institution) and payment infrastructure for European merchants — own processing, own gateway, licenses in Cyprus (CBC) and the UK (FCA). Pre-launch, release planned this year. Responsibilities: Build the financial core of the platform from scratch: ledger, settlement engine, reconciliation. Work directly with the CTO, real influence on architecture instead of backlog tickets. AI-first approach: AI agents work on code, reviews, tests and incidents, and most PRs are approved automatically. Looking for people who are comfortable with this format and who build their own AI pipelines rather than using LLMs as a "second opinion".

6+ years of experience with Kotlin/Java (Spring Boot) PostgreSQL Event-driven architecture OAuth2 Experience in fintech/payments will be a plus
