Senior Full-Stack Developer (Node.js + React)

Senior Full-Stack Developer (Node.js + React) at Clever Craft, remote, $3400-4100 gross, full-time B2B contract.

We are a Slovenia-based company and consider candidates working remotely. You will work on production systems with an in-house framework, design API contracts, write tests (Vitest), and collaborate with external consumers.

5+ years of professional software engineering, including ownership of production systems rather than isolated features. Strong TypeScript and Node.js. Strong SQL Server - T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, indexes and execution plans. Comfortable working without a full ORM - application code queries through a query builder, heavier logic written as SQL directly. Strong React - hooks, Redux Toolkit or comparable state management, data fetching, discipline to work inside a large existing component base. Designing API contracts and integrations, including versioning and backward compatibility with external consumers. Comfort working in an in-house framework. Familiarity with dependency injection. You write tests (Vitest, including integration tests against real SQL Server in a local container). Security awareness in everyday work. You work with AI coding agents and verify what they produce. Professional written English (spoken not required). Plus: Experience with enterprise or legacy integrations, experience with configuration-driven runtime behaviour, PostgreSQL.

B2B contract, full time. Remote. Preferred overlap: 9:00–15:00 CET, negotiable. The stated rate is gross. Contractors responsible for own taxes. Annual bonus possible. Fitness and education reimbursement.
