Develop and maintain scalable distributed systems, end-to-end ownership of services (architecture, implementation, monitoring, reliability), work with API clients (turning vague requests into concrete proposals), develop Web3 components (protocol integrations, support for new networks, interaction with smart contracts), ensure quality, performance, and security, use AI in daily workflow.

5+ years designing and building distributed backend systems. Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures, comfortable in a fast-changing startup environment, desire to influence the product, direct contact with clients, daily use of AI (understanding where it changes approach and where it cannot be trusted), high code standards, ownership, clear communication, pragmatism, quick learning.

Salary: ~$110,000 – $150,000 per year (gross) + options. Remote.
