Quality Department Technologist

Quality Department Technologist at a chemical plant. Responsible for process control, audits, new product introduction, and staff training.

Responsibilities: - Organizing the technological process, managing raw material consumption rates, and monitoring production technological discipline. - Technological management of synthesis and mixing processes. - Participation in internal audits and implementation of corrective actions. - Participation in customer complaint analysis and development of preventive actions. - Development and maintenance of internal technological documentation, regulations, and process flow charts. - Introduction of new products into production, technology refinement, and scaling. - Analysis of defect causes and product parameter deviations, development of corrective and preventive actions. - Participation in the search and analysis of interchangeable raw material components, testing, and approval for serial production. - Maintenance of technical/technological accounting documentation, analysis, and technological statistics. - Development of training programs and conducting production staff training on technological processes.

Requirements: - Technical higher education (chemical technologist), preferably in organic synthesis. - Knowledge of technological equipment design (reactors, reflux condensers, shell-and-tube and plate heat exchangers, gear and diaphragm pumps, cooling towers, chillers, etc.) at hazardous production facilities. - Knowledge and understanding of organic synthesis of complex polyesters. - Knowledge of regulatory documentation in industrial safety (Federal laws, Technical Regulations, Federal Norms and Rules, GOSTs, etc.).
