QA Automation Engineer (Senior)

Senior AQA Engineer at Devquality. Remote, up to 168k RUB after taxes. Requires TypeScript, Playwright, backend testing, CI/CD.

Responsibilities include development and support of automated tests for backend and frontend services, REST and SOAP API testing, working with mock services and stubs, analyzing CI test results, documenting testing processes, mentoring less experienced QA engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory requirements: Russian citizenship. Location: Russia. - 3+ years of experience in automation with TypeScript. - Experience developing and maintaining automated tests for backend and frontend services. - Experience with Playwright. - Experience with Selenium or WebDriverIO. - Ability to create and maintain stable locators: CSS, XPath, etc. - Understanding of test architecture and maintainable test frameworks. Backend and API: - Experience testing REST API. - Experience with SOAP API. - Understanding of backend development principles and frameworks: NestJS, Express, Next.js or similar. - Understanding of microservices architecture. - Experience with mock services and stubs. - Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI. Infrastructure and DevOps: - Proficient in Git. - Basic Linux commands. - Experience with Docker. - Experience with Kubernetes. - Experience writing, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated tests. - Ability to analyze automated test run results in CI. Databases and storage: - Experience with relational databases at basic SQL level. - Understanding of differences between relational and non-relational databases. - Experience with NoSQL solutions: MongoDB, Redis or similar. - Experience with Elasticsearch. Integrations and queues: - Experience with Kafka. - Understanding of asynchronous inter-service communication. - Skills in testing event-driven integrations and message handling. Requirements and documentation: - Ability to analyze requirements, technical specifications, and project documentation. - Skills in breaking down requirements into test scenarios and test cases. - Experience documenting testing processes, approaches, and results. - Ability to keep test documentation up-to-date. Teamwork: - Experience collaborating with developers, analysts, QA, and DevOps engineers. - Experience mentoring or assisting less experienced QA engineers. - Ability to justify technical decisions and participate in product quality discussions.
