Head of Budget & Cost Control

Freedom24 is looking for a Head of Budget & Cost Control in Limassol. Lead budgeting and cost control, report to CFO, manage a team, and improve financial planning processes.

Freedom24 is an international online broker operating in the US, Europe, and Asian markets. We are looking for a leader of the budgeting and cost control function who will report to the CFO and be responsible for the company's budgeting process. Responsibilities: • Organization of the full budgeting cycle: OPEX, CAPEX, and financial budgets. • Preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, scenario analysis, and investment models. • Analysis of variances between actual expenses and budget, and preparation of recommendations. • Control of budget limits and escalation of overruns. • Search for and implementation of opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. • Preparation of management reports and profitability analysis of projects and investments. • Development and automation of budgeting processes using ERP and BI tools. • Leadership and development of the budgeting and cost control team.

• Higher education in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. • More than 5 years of experience in budgeting, controlling, FP&A, or financial management. • 2–3 years of team management experience. • Practical experience in OPEX/CAPEX budgeting and cash flow. • Strong skills in management accounting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. • Advanced Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or 1C. • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. • Confident communication and readiness to present financial analytics to management. • ACCA, CIMA, or CPA, knowledge of IFRS, and experience in the financial sector will be an advantage.
