Data Scientist (CV) at Ozon Tech. Location: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, other countries. Hybrid/remote, full-time. Salary discussed individually. Build and improve computer vision systems for warehouse automation.

We are a computer vision systems development team at Ozon Tech. We develop computer vision technologies to automate Ozon warehouse processes. Our solutions work with real video streams and production ML models, helping improve operations and reduce the human factor. We are looking for a specialist to create and develop CV systems — from algorithm selection to industrial deployment. Responsibilities: - Develop and improve computer vision models (detection, classification, tracking, segmentation). - Select algorithms and approaches for applied tasks, conduct experiments and evaluate model quality. - Optimize models and algorithms for efficient and fast operation on large data volumes in production. - Design and optimize inference pipelines, including real-time scenarios. - Develop ML services and work with microservice architecture (Python). - Analyze solution performance and find bottlenecks — from models to infrastructure. - Work with video streams and create high-load data processing systems. - Interact with engineers and developers at all stages — from research to production.

Higher education in mathematics, computer science, or related technical disciplines. Confident knowledge of Python and experience in industrial development. Practical experience in Computer Vision or Machine Learning. Understanding of classical CV algorithms and modern ML approaches. Knowledge of main model quality metrics and validation methods. Good algorithmic foundation (data structures, complexity estimation). Skills in writing clean, maintainable code and working with Git. Nice to have: - Experience with GPU (Nvidia, CUDA, TensorRT). - Experience building real-time systems or optimizing latency. - Experience with deployment and MLOps practices. - Experience with video streams (RTSP/RTP) or stream data processing systems. - Experience developing high-load services. - Knowledge of C++ for performance-critical components. - Experience with Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes or similar infrastructure. - Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases. - Skills in writing unit and integration tests. English at technical documentation reading level.
