Data Scientist

Data Scientist position at Emerging Travel Group (global travel-tech), focusing on pricing, forecasting, and optimization. Remote, middle level, 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities: - Solve business tasks in pricing for B2B/B2C, forecasting and optimization of financial and operational metrics - Lead ML projects end-to-end: from problem definition and hypothesis formalization to modeling, piloting, and results evaluation - Develop and evaluate ML models, including classical algorithms, time series, and uplift modeling - Participate in preparation and analysis of A/B tests together with analysts - Work with Data Engineering on data collection and dataset preparation - Ensure model quality, monitor metrics, and improve models upon degradation

What we expect: - At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist - Experience leading ML projects end-to-end - Solid knowledge of classical ML: feature engineering, classification, regression, boosting, and other methods - Practical experience with uplift modeling and time series in business tasks - Understanding of business metrics and optimization tasks: pricing, LTV, retention, A/B testing - Proficient in Python for DS/ML and SQL for data preparation and analysis Will be a plus: - Experience with MLflow/DVC, Airflow, model monitoring, anomaly detection, anti-fraud, and Deep Learning
