Crypto Operations Specialist (Back Office)
Crypto Operations Specialist (Back Office) role in Limassol, Cyprus. Requires understanding of blockchain networks, DeFi protocols, and transaction mechanics. Responsibilities include trade accounting, transaction execution, on-chain operations, and portfolio reconciliation. Key responsibilities: Trade accounting, monitoring deadlines and correctness of operations Execution of trade transactions (crypto / fiat / internal allocations) according to instructions from the investment team Preparation and execution of on-chain operations: swaps, bridges, staking, LP, deposits/withdrawals, claims Work with multi-sig wallets: setting up transactions, simulation before sending, approval flow, execution monitoring Verification of parameters before signing: contract addresses, amounts, networks, slippage, gas Setting up and maintaining trade records Recording all trade parameters: amount, date, instrument, counterparty, network / protocol Updating trade statuses (initiated / in progress / executed / closed) Participation in setting up and updating signing policies: discussing changes with managers, monitoring the correctness of approval rules Monitoring changes in protocols and networks that may affect current positions or execution procedures Portfolio position reconciliation: comparing on-chain data with internal accounting, identifying discrepancies Tracking yield, rewards, vesting unlocks, airdrops for company wallets Maintaining a registry of open positions by protocols and networks Managing approvals/revokes, monitoring wallet activity Preparing summary data on the portfolio (including PE/VC positions) for managers and external reporting Monitoring trade execution deadlines (SLA) Ensuring timely transaction execution Escalation of delays or deviations
Practical experience with DeFi protocols (Pendle, Curve, Jupiter, and similar) Understanding of transaction mechanics: what is signed, where funds go, what are the risks Experience with EVM networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB), as well as Solana/SUI Confident work with block explorers (Etherscan and similar) Attention to detail and accuracy in working with transactions Ability to work according to processes and meet deadlines Basic understanding of accounting for operations and fund flows Participation in improving operational processes and accounting systems Will be a plus: Experience with institutional custody solutions (Fordefi, Fireblocks) Understanding of fund administration / investment deal accounting principles
