COO / Operations Director

International FinTech/Payments company seeks COO to manage daily operations and build scalable systems. Belgrade, hybrid/remote with relocation support.

Manage daily operations and functional leaders. Coordinate Payments, Finance, Support, Tech, Project Management, and Commercial. Audit and optimize processes, eliminate bottlenecks. Implement regulations, KPIs, and management reporting. Automate manual processes, implement ERP and analytics tools. Monitor operational metrics and payment solution efficiency. Participate in launching new payment methods, providers, and products. Develop organizational structure and teams. Resolve critical incidents and prevent recurrence.

Experience as COO/Operations Director/Head of Operations or similar leadership role. Experience in FinTech, PSP, acquiring, payment aggregator, or transactional business. Managing multiple functions and teams through managers. Practical experience scaling operations and building processes. Deep understanding of payment economics: Pay-in/Pay-out, PSP, fees, FX, settlement, reconciliation, routing, success rate, merchant economics. Ability to work with data independently, find root causes, and make decisions. Experience in process automation and management tools. English mandatory.
