CFO | International Commodity Trading / Agro Export

CFO for an international commodity trading and financial holding specializing in grain and legume exports. Salary from 600,000 RUB per month, hybrid work, full-time.

You will lead the financial function of a trading company. First 3-6 months working from the office in Rostov-on-Don, then remote work plus business trips. Responsibilities: - Financial partnership with the trading business: evaluating the economics of specific purchase/sale deals and calculating real margins considering full cost structure (logistics, storage, financing, penalties, etc.); managing budget and P&L of the trading company, plan-fact analysis; planning cash needs for specific contracts and transferring forecasts to the group treasury; assessing credit risk of buyers and suppliers; building and developing management accounting; controlling currency exposure on deals and assessing currency risks. - Accounting, taxes, and audit: managing accounting/chief accountant; organizing and controlling accounting and tax accounting; participating in forming accounting methodology; controlling export VAT and its refund; interacting with tax authorities and external auditors; organizing and supporting tax and external audits; controlling quality of primary documentation and timely closing of reporting periods; working with transfer pricing between group legal entities.

5+ years of experience in international commodities trading (grain, oilseeds, legumes, or other raw materials); experience with the Russian market and international markets, Russian and foreign counterparties; fluent Russian; experience in financial expertise of trading deals — understanding what forms real deal margin beyond purchase and sale price; experience managing a company's financial function, including interaction with accounting/chief accountant; proven experience with export operations and VAT refund; experience passing tax and external audits under personal responsibility; understanding of currency risk management principles and control of currency exposure on deals; English B2 and above.

Rostov-on-Don — first 3-6 months office format, then remote work + business trips. From 600,000 RUB, final conditions discussed individually depending on experience and candidate level. Employment under the Labor Code of the Russian Federation or another convenient format. The position implies real independence in your financial perimeter and direct interaction with the Founder.
