Video Editor

Remote project-based video editor role for an indie project focused on psychedelic and experimental visuals, utilizing AI tools for short-form content.

We are looking for a video editor for project-based employment to work with content for an indie project. We need a person with an interest in experimental visuals: psychedelics, surrealism, intentional image distortions, unconventional transitions, and work with AI tools. It is important to find interesting visual solutions and turn even ordinary phone footage into unusual, atmospheric content. What you will do: - Edit short videos for project needs. - Work with phone footage and turn source material into expressive, stylized content. - Use AI tools for video processing and transformation. - Work with psychedelic and experimental aesthetics: distortions, glitch, surrealist transformations, unexpected cuts, and visual techniques. - Feel the rhythm, dynamics, and mood of the material. - Proactively propose ideas and solutions for editing and processing.

We are looking for: - Strong sense of visual style and good editing taste. - Experience with experimental / fashion / music / art video or close aesthetics. - Understanding of current short-form content. - Experience with AI-video tools or willingness to actively use them. - Self-driven, detail-oriented, and deadline-respecting.

Format: Remote / project-based.
