Lead Backend Developer at VK Tech, Moscow. Development and support of distributed systems and cloud platform services. Experience with Go for 4+ years, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes. Remote or office work.

Develop and support distributed systems and cloud platform services; Implement new product features and improve existing user scenarios for millions of users; Work on the performance, reliability, and fault tolerance of services under high load; Participate in the design of architectural solutions: request routing, queues, data storage, security, scaling, fault tolerance; Participate in the estimation, decomposition, and planning of large tasks with the team; Conduct code reviews, participate in the development of engineering practices, maintain code quality and service stability; Maintain and update technical documentation; Interact with developers, related teams, and other participants in the process to coordinate and implement solutions.

Commercial Go development experience of 4+ years; Experience working with systems implemented on a heterogeneous stack, including different languages; Confident Linux/Unix development experience; Skills in working with Linux distributions (CentOS, AlmaLinux, or equivalents); Experience in designing and developing high-load distributed systems and multithreaded services; Understanding of network protocol principles, client-server interaction, and the OSI model; Practical experience in profiling, debugging, and optimizing applications; Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes; Willingness to learn Lua and interact with Tarantool DBMS; High level of independence, responsibility for results, and quality of technical decisions made; Skill in building monitoring and system control systems, experience with syslog, Grafana.
