International Advertising Tech Lead Backend (C++) at Yandex. Develop advertising engine architecture and new features for a high-load system. Focus on AI agents and generative technologies. Hybrid work in Moscow or Belgrade.

The Yandex Advertising Engine is one of the most high-load and technologically advanced systems in the world. We are developing our own advertising stack for the international market. Come design the architecture and implement new features. What tasks await you: • Design architecture and implement new features We are implementing innovative products for which there are no ready-made or simple solutions. Each task begins with a system-wide study of the future product, building the architecture and processes around new functionality. All employees participate in the design. • Immerse yourself in the product We work in a developing industry with dynamically changing requirements and a high variety of product development directions. Your task will be to expand the product's capabilities, design a flexible architecture suitable for further development. • Shape the face of performance advertising in AI agents This is a fundamentally new challenge for the industry: there are no ready-made references or proven mechanics for this task in the world yet. This is work at the intersection of a classic advertising engine and advanced generative technologies.

We expect you to: • Write fluently in modern C++ starting from C14, preferably C20 • Have an excellent understanding of algorithms and data structures • Understand the project development lifecycle • Be able to work with customers, clarify technical requirements, and provide consultations It will be a plus if you: • Have designed and developed high-load services with large data volumes • Have worked on an advertising engine
