iGaming company with a 10-year history. The platform handles tens of thousands RPS and terabytes of data daily. The role combines deep technical expertise and mature people management. Hiring is outside RF. Responsibilities: - Manage the team: hire, grow and mentor a team of Senior PHP engineers. Build onboarding, conduct 1-on-1s, performance reviews and care about long-term motivation. - Drive architecture: make key architectural decisions, design scalable solutions in PHP and maintain high engineering standards (deep code review). - Own Delivery: build and optimize Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban), help the team with decomposition, estimation and planning. - Manage Highload and Data: design databases for high loads, profile and optimize complex MySQL queries (thousands RPS), support analytics in ClickHouse. - Develop event-driven architecture (EDA): design asynchronous interaction between microservices based on Apache Kafka. - Ensure Reliability: be responsible for production stability, drive monitoring initiatives (Prometheus, Grafana), manage incident response and conduct post-mortems.

Proven experience of 2+ years as a Team Lead or Tech Lead (managing a PHP team, hiring and developing Senior engineers, servant leadership mindset). 6+ years of PHP development (expert knowledge of PHP 8.x, OOP, SOLID, design patterns). Excellent knowledge of the Symfony and/or Laravel ecosystem. Understanding of how databases work under the hood: advanced MySQL (replication, indexes, locks, performance and concurrent access tuning). Confident work with Redis and real production experience with Apache Kafka and ClickHouse. Confident hands-on experience with infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux.

Format: 100% remote outside RF with time synchronization to Prague (CET). Location: work from anywhere in the world (except RF). Employment: B2B / sole proprietor. Compensation: fixed salary in EUR, based on your expectations. Time off and health: 20 working days paid vacation, 3 sick days per year without medical certificate + paid sick leave (60%).
