Yandex Afisha is looking for an SRE engineer or infrastructure developer with operational experience. Responsibilities include improving product reliability, optimizing infrastructure, and automating delivery. Requires experience with configuration management systems and orchestrators, team development in Python or Go, CI/CD, and UNIX systems.

Yandex Afisha is the leading online ticketing service for entertainment events in Russia. We are also developing our international presence. We provide a full range of services for partners and a convenient service for users. What tasks await you: • Improve product reliability: enhance observability, conduct SLO reviews, build an incident management system, participate in troubleshooting. • Optimize infrastructure: develop tools for product resource utilization, identify and eliminate bottlenecks, implement secure software development practices. • Automate delivery: improve the quality and speed of CD artifacts in releases, new services, and unstable environments for pull request services.

We expect you to: • Have experience with configuration management systems and orchestrators (Y.Deploy, K8s, Terraform, host configurations, Infractl). • Have experience in team development with Python or Go, worked with OOP, and written tests. • Have experience building CI/CD. • Have experience with UNIX systems and the console. It will be a plus if you: • Have experience in Cloud Engineering. • Have designed and operated distributed systems 24/7/365. • Have experience in optimizing and troubleshooting DBMS (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). • Have experience in process diagnostics: interpreting output from ps, top, strace, perf, tcpdump.
