SRE Engineer

SRE Engineer (Senior) for a large retail project. Remote, Russia. 144 hours/month. Salary: 1100-1400 RUB/hour. Requires 5+ years of commercial development experience, Puppet, Linux infrastructure, Foreman/Satellite.

Project: Large retail. Location/Citizenship: Remote, Russia. Load: 144 hours per month (potentially full-time). Start of loading: May 2026. Duration: until the end of the year. Payment: per hour: 1100-1400 RUB.

• Commercial development experience of 5+ years • Must have experience with Puppet • Must have experience with infrastructure, architect-level knowledge of Linux, • Experience with Foreman/Satellite, • Development of puppet modules and implementation in production. Additional: • Skills: development in git, CI/CD

Technological stack to work with: • OS: Linux (Ubuntu 24, CentOS, RHEL), Windows Server. • DBMS: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, others. • Packages and updates: Testing and verification of patches, software updates. • Scripting languages: Bash/Python for automation is mandatory. • Tools: For the future - Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD systems. • Security: Deep understanding of hardening standards (CIS Benchmarks), methods for strengthening OS and DBMS protection.
