Senior QA Automation / Test Consultant (TestComplete, Windows Desktop)

Senior QA Automation / Test Consultant for a Danish healthcare client. Remote, outsourced, improving testing processes for a legacy Windows desktop app.

We are seeking a strong QA specialist for a Danish client in a regulated healthcare sector. The system is a legacy Windows desktop application written in DataFlex. The client needs not just an executor but a consultant to help build and improve testing processes. Responsibilities: - Test the Windows desktop application. - Automate testing using TestComplete. - Convert manual regression tests to automated ones: start with a smoke set, then gradually expand. - Consult the client and help improve QA processes. - Participate in online meetings with the Danish team.

Mandatory: - English C1/C2: confident online meetings with non-native speakers; the Danish team likely has a strong accent; need to explain clearly and lead conversations. - Experience testing Windows desktop applications. - Experience with TestComplete automation. - Experience converting manual regression tests to automated. - Level sufficient for consulting the client, not just executing tasks. Nice to have: - Experience with legacy systems: DataFlex, Delphi, VB6, WinForms, PowerBuilder or similar. - Experience in healthcare/regulated sector, working with test data and GDPR. - JavaScript or Python for scripts. - SQL Server for data verification in the interface. - Using AI for test generation, e.g., Claude Code. - Remote work with clients from Scandinavia/Western Europe.

Outstaff, fully remote, working hours according to Denmark. The client's QA team has not previously worked with remote specialists – mature communication is important. Candidates must reside outside Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine.
