Java Test Automation Engineer (Trainee)

Aston is hiring a trainee Java Test Automation Engineer. Remote internship, full-time employment. No experience required.

Responsibilities include: - Training from 9:00 to 18:00 with lunch break (candidates from cities with our office must attend in person; others from other Russian regions can be remote, up to MSK+4) - Internship duration ~4 months - Studying theory with weekly checks - Practice on training projects under supervision - Preparation for interviews and self-presentation - After starting on a commercial project: hybrid format (3 days office / 2 days remote) until reaching M2 level (for candidates in cities with our offices, except Moscow) - Free online training "Java Test Engineer" available upon request

Requirements: - Solid knowledge of testing theory - Understanding of SQL - Understanding of Web/Mobile app principles - Basic Java knowledge - Familiarity with test automation tools (JUnit or TestNG, Selenium) - Completed higher or secondary specialized education - Willingness to complete internship at Aston Nice to have: - Basic testing theory knowledge - Basic Java knowledge
