Senior Python Developer (Visiology Cortex)

Senior Python developer at Polymedia (Visiology Cortex). Full-time, office or remote. Develop AI assistant with LangGraph agents, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, Python backend, PostgreSQL vector search.

Polymedia is one of the leaders of the Russian BI market. Visiology Cortex is an AI module of the platform, an embedded intelligent assistant based on LLM. Technologies: Python, LangGraph, PostgreSQL, vector embeddings, LLM API, Docker. Responsibilities: - Develop Cortex architecture: LangGraph agents, request routing, multi-agent scenarios - Develop and optimize RAG pipeline: document indexing, embeddings and rerankers, vector search - Integrate with LLMs (Claude / OpenAI / GigaChat / open-source models), control inference cost, stream responses (SSE) - Develop backend services in Python - Work with PostgreSQL, including vector storage and search - Integrate with Visiology platform core via REST API (dashboards, metrics, data models) - Occasional tasks in Angular/TypeScript (Cortex UI) and C#/.NET when connecting with platform services - Write unit and integration tests, develop technical documentation

Experience in commercial development from 6 years Confident knowledge of Python, experience building backend services Experience with PostgreSQL Understanding of basic principles of working with LLMs and RAG: embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, context limitations Practical experience with AI development assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar) Understanding of web applications (HTTP, REST API) Knowledge of data structures and design patterns Ability to conduct quality code review Experience with version control systems (Git) English at level of reading technical documentation
