Senior Python Developer Cybersecurity

Senior Python Developer for METASCAN cybersecurity product, remote, full-time, 3-6 years experience. Develop core scanner framework and modules.

Responsibilities: - Refine base classes and unify code, improve internal framework - Deploy many new vulnerability search modules using the framework as a wrapper - Optimize code performance, especially API, models, and Elasticsearch queries - Implement base classes of the vulnerability scanner framework in Python3 - Implement a testing system for developed modules - Create new platform modules as wrappers over utilities/containers/API (nuclei, patator, wpscan, specific PoC exploits) - Write tests (unittest/pytest) and technical documentation - Code review - Participate in architectural decisions

Experience in product development with Python3 - Experience with Django, DRF - Experience with Celery - Experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch - Good understanding of Linux (systemd, iptables, bash) - Understanding Docker - building images, running, debugging - Experience with Git commit/pull request policies Will be a plus: - Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis - Experience with Ansible - Experience with vulnerability scanners MaxPatrol, Nessus, Acunetix or others - Experience with BurpSuite or ZAP - Interest in the subject area: penetration testing, OSINT, reverse engineering
