Senior PHP (Highload / iGaming) with GO knowledge

Senior PHP Developer (Highload/iGaming) with GO knowledge. Remote, B2B, fixed EUR. Experience with Symfony/Laravel, MySQL, Kafka, ClickHouse. Hire outside RF.

iGaming company with 10-year history. Strengthening core team. You will design architecture and develop key services of a high-load platform, develop asynchronous event-driven architecture based on Apache Kafka, manage large data volumes: design schemas, profile and optimize complex queries in MySQL and ClickHouse, build Observability culture by implementing OpenTelemetry (distributed tracing, logs, metrics), set engineering standards: conduct deep architecture and code reviews, mentor the team.

Backend only in product teams (no outsourcing/freelance). PHP 5+ years, applies OOP, SOLID and design patterns. Excellent knowledge of Symfony and/or Laravel. Advanced MySQL: replication, indexes, locks, optimization. Confident with Redis and production Apache Kafka. Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitLab CI/GitHub Actions). Understands production monitoring and finding bottlenecks. Practical experience with ClickHouse on large data volumes. Experience with Go. Strong plus: experience splitting large legacy monoliths into modular domains, deep expertise in OpenTelemetry.

100% remote outside RF, sync with Prague time (CET). Work from anywhere except RF. B2B contract (self-employed). Fixed salary in EUR, based on expectations. 20 paid working days of vacation, 3 sick days per year without certificates, plus paid sick leave (60%).
