Senior Legal Counsel

Next Genium seeks a senior lawyer for an intensive project in game development, full legal support, IP protection, contracts, tax planning. Remote, part-time, up to 400,000 RUB per project.

Full legal support for the development and sale of games; protection of intellectual property (registration, patents, copyrights, trademarks); work with counterparties: contracts with publishers, developers, contractors; legal support for game sales (including sales through Hong Kong); creating legal checklists with risk descriptions for each stage; developing legal strategies for international activities; tax planning and building a legal structure - a key task. The lawyer must understand taxes, be able to organize everything and propose the optimal structure; consultations on corporate and tax law (Russia and foreign jurisdictions).

Experience as a lawyer in game dev / IT for at least 3 years; deep understanding of copyright and intellectual property; experience with international contracts and foreign jurisdictions (Hong Kong, Cyprus, USA, EU - a plus); experience with legal support of digital product sales; ability to create legal checklists and describe risks for business; deep knowledge of taxes: able to build a structure, explain the scheme and justify decisions; strong position and readiness to object: does not agree with everything for comfort, knows how to argue and propose alternatives; English - confident reading and writing (contracts, correspondence with counterparties); systemic thinking and results-oriented.

Up to 400,000 RUB per project; employment 1/4 of full-time (1.5–2 hours per day), flexible schedule; duration 1–2 months; remote format; no tracker required; work for results, without stretching processes.
