Senior Java Developer

Senior Java developer for a large-scale federal HR platform (public job portal + internal document/HR processes). Rate: 1300–1400 RUB/hour. Remote. 6 months with extension.

Develop a large-scale federal HR platform: public contour (job portal analog) and closed internal contour (document flow and HR processes). Responsibilities: — Decomposition of monolith and development of new microservices; — Fault-tolerant integrations: Kafka, idempotency, Transactional Outbox, retry, DLQ; — Distributed systems: locks, schedulers, caching, graceful degradation; — Performance optimization: SQL, indexes, eliminating N+1, JVM profiling; — Business process orchestration (Netflix Conductor / Camunda).

Must have: — 5+ years of commercial Java development; — Java 21+ (project stack Java 21–25), Spring Boot, Apache Kafka; — PostgreSQL: query optimization, indexes, transactions; — Experience designing high-load, fault-tolerant systems; — Docker / Kubernetes; — Higher education. Nice to have: — Experience migrating legacy monoliths to microservices; — Camunda / Netflix Conductor; — Reliability patterns: Saga, Circuit Breaker, idempotency; — Work with personal data, JWT/OAuth2.
