Senior Backend Engineer Go — Custody Platform (The Vault)

Senior Backend Engineer Go for The Vault, an MPC-based crypto custody platform. Fully remote with EU/CIS overlap. Build policy engine, signing orchestration, key lifecycle, recovery flows, and multi-tenant wallet/account services.

We are building The Vault — a modern MPC-based crypto custody platform for institutional and retail clients. Responsibilities: • Design and implement critical components: policy engine, signing orchestration, key lifecycle, recovery flows, approvals, audit trails, multi-tenant wallet/account services • Build high-load multi-tenant SaaS systems (tenant isolation, rate limiting, backpressure, etc.) • Work with distributed systems, reliability patterns, security-by-design • Actively use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) as a core competency

• Strong CS fundamentals (concurrency, distributed systems, consistency, etc.) • 7+ years of backend experience in Go • Real experience with modern AI coding tools and ability to critically review AI-generated code • Experience building high-load multi-tenant SaaS • Experience in the crypto industry (crypto exchanges, blockchain projects, Web3) Nice to have: • Experience in custody/wallets/MPC/HSM/Ledger Blockchain (EVM + Bitcoin required, others a plus) • Regulated environment experience (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.) • Kubernetes, SRE practices
