SDET / QA Automation Lead role for an ITSM / ITAM solution. Focus on improving test automation, expanding coverage, and integrating tests into CI/CD. Requires strong coding skills (TypeScript) and experience with automation frameworks. Remote worldwide (outside of Russia).

We build an ITSM / ITAM solution available as both SaaS and on-premise. The engineering team consists of approximately 30 engineers, working with a mix of legacy components and newer .NET-based services. While automation exists, a significant portion of regression testing remains manual, which slows down releases. This role is crucial for changing that situation. Responsibilities: ▫️ Own the test automation approach and evolve it into a structured, scalable system ▫️ Improve reliability of existing automation, expand coverage, introduce clear patterns and best practices ▫️ Increase automated coverage of critical user journeys ▫️ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines ▫️ Work closely with the QA team and support their transition toward automation

Must-have: ▫️ Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks ▫️ Solid coding skills (TypeScript or similar) ▫️ Ability to work hands-on where automation is still developing ▫️ English — Upper-Intermediate or higher (written and spoken) ▫️ Russian — professional working proficiency Important: ▫️ Experience with Playwright, or willingness to adopt it ▫️ Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, etc.) Nice-to-have: ▫️ Experience mentoring QA engineers transitioning into automation
