Screenwriter / Narrative Designer
Red Panda Games (beginning studio), remote part-time, unpaid initially for portfolio, later possible small salary, game about cowboys vs monsters with AI integration.
We are Red Panda Games, a starting studio. Working on a game about cowboys against monsters with deep AI integration into gameplay. The project already has an author's vision, narrative structure, and character sketches. We are looking for a screenwriter to help develop these materials into detailed descriptions and game texts. Responsibilities: Write and refine game lines and dialogues for given situations. Develop characters: personality, motivation, and backstory. Turn initial character descriptions into detailed documents following the existing structure. Work within the given universe, respecting its logic and author's intent. Suggest additions and improvements, discussing them with the project author. How work is structured: The project author sets the basis and initial description, the screenwriter develops them into full material. Initiative is welcome: structure can be expanded and rethought through discussion. Key narrative decisions and final approval remain with the author.
Experience in writing scripts. Ability to create lively dialogues and convincing characters. Experience with fictional worlds (fan fiction is acceptable, especially own universe creation). Good familiarity with classic RPG and CRPG, understanding of the genre and its narrative features. Willingness to work with detailed briefs and approve results in stages. A big plus: experience as a D&D dungeon master or other tabletop RPGs, especially creating and running own campaigns. We'd be happy to see scripts, novels, fan fiction, world descriptions, and other work samples.
Salary: at the current stage no payment, work for portfolio. After receiving investments, a small salary may be possible. Work location: remote. Employment: part-time.
