Scala Tech Lead at Betby. Looking for a strong Scala Tech Lead to join the team. Focus on building high-load distributed systems and working with real-time data. Remote.

You’ll take ownership of the technical direction within the Sources team - the core part of the platform that processes high-volume real-time sports data from multiple providers and turns it into reliable event streams used across the product. What you will do: • Define and drive technical strategy and architecture • Design scalable, high-throughput data processing systems • Lead development of distributed, event-driven solutions • Improve system reliability, performance, and observability • Support engineers in solving complex technical challenges • Make pragmatic technical decisions and contribute to the codebase

Experience: 5+ years in backend development + leadership experience Key Skills: Scala, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, Kafka/RabbitMQ
