Rust Engineer with Java experience (Data Lake Platform)

Senior Rust/Java engineer for a Data Lake optimization platform. Full-time, remote (EU, Georgia), $5000/month.

Develop and evolve a platform for automatic optimization and maintenance of large Data Lake storage. Accelerate analytical queries and reduce infrastructure costs through automatic data storage optimization and table maintenance. Work directly with project founders (CEO/CTO) on key architectural and product tasks. Solve complex engineering tasks autonomously with minimal bureaucracy.

Senior commercial development experience of 5+ years. Excellent Rust and Java skills. Deep understanding of the Data Lake ecosystem and experience with Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, DataFusion, Apache Arrow, StarRocks. English strictly B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher. Autonomy, startup mindset, and ability to independently solve complex problems.

Salary: $5000 per month. Full-time employment. Remote work (EU, Georgia).
