Rust Engineer with Java Experience (Data Lake Platform)

Remote Rust/Java Engineer for a Data Lake platform, salary up to $5,000/month, working directly with founders.

Develop and evolve a platform for automatic optimization and maintenance of large Data Lake storages; accelerate analytical query execution and reduce infrastructure costs through automatic data storage optimization and table maintenance; work directly with project founders (CEO/CTO) on key architectural and product tasks; solve complex engineering problems autonomously with minimal bureaucracy.

Senior experience in commercial development from 5 years; excellent command of Rust and Java; deep understanding of the Data Lake ecosystem and experience with Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, DataFusion, Apache Arrow, StarRocks; English strictly from B2 (Upper-Intermediate); autonomy, startup mindset, and ability to solve complex problems independently.

Innovative product with international clients from the USA, Israel, and India; opportunity to influence the architecture and development of the platform from the first days; work in a strong and compact engineering team on a modern high-load stack (Data Lake / Rust / Java).
