Creating product features: This can range from a simple redesign of a page with A/B testing to creating a new product within the UGC stream. The process involves a lot of communication with the product manager regarding the vision for the solution, as well as with client developers for API development. A bonus is the ability to influence the product, as you communicate directly with the decision-maker. Designing solutions: We practice designing features independently. Of course, senior colleagues will review and may help make complex decisions. This is important as it helps to delve deeper into the technical details under the hood, and fewer errors are made during implementation. Tech Quota: Yandex constantly creates new, more optimal tools to utilize hardware more efficiently or gain various advantages. Part of the team's time is spent implementing them. This could involve switching to a different service deployment system, updating Spring, implementing a new balancing scheme, and much more.
