Join Yandex as a Kotlin/Java Developer for an integration gateway in Smart Buildings. Develop integrations with devices, design architecture, and enhance infrastructure. Based in Moscow.

We are building a digital platform that makes life in residential complexes smart and convenient. We are looking for a Kotlin/Java developer for an integration gateway. Come and implement user scenarios that improve people's quality of life across the country. What tasks await you: • Develop integrations with devices You will be directly integrating the platform with devices as part of a new company development direction. You will implement user scenarios: controlling intercoms, contactless access control, opening barriers, and much more. • Design architecture and implement new features We are introducing innovative products for which there are no ready-made or simple solutions. Each task begins with a systematic study of the future product, building the architecture and processes around the new functionality. • Develop technologies and infrastructure to accelerate business growth and quality The foundation for rapid and reliable growth for us is a well-designed infrastructure and codebase. Developers themselves configure and maintain a lion's share of the infrastructure.

We expect you to: • Have solid experience with Kotlin or Java • Have experience with Spring • Have worked with relational DBMS • Know how to work with Git or other VCS It will be a plus if you: • Are ready to work on complex architectural solutions with non-trivial business logic • Know how to design fault-tolerant services • Have experience in system programming • Have basic Linux skills • Have configured software with industrial or network equipment • Have developed solutions in the field of access control systems, dispatch systems (ODS), and SCADA systems • Are familiar with Modbus, OPC, SNMP, MQTT, SIP protocols • Understand the basics of network technologies: routing, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP
