QA Team Lead (Senior+ or Senior)
Telement is looking for a QA Team Lead for a startup developing a secure corporate messenger. Responsibilities include leading the QA direction, developing testing strategies, and writing autotests. Remote work with a flexible schedule. Salary: $3000 - $5000 net.
Telement (startup, development of a secure corporate messenger based on Matrix, fork of Element) Responsibilities: - Leading the QA direction (currently 1 manual QA, planning to hire an automation engineer). - Developing a testing strategy (manual and automated) for web, desktop (Electron), and mobile clients. - Writing and maintaining autotests (Playwright with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python). - Integrating autotests into CI/CD. - Participating in release planning, risk assessment, quality metrics. - Mentoring and onboarding QA engineers. - Interacting with development, PM, and DevOps.
Candidate requirements: - QA experience from 4 years, with at least 2 years in a Team Lead or leading QA role. - Automation experience with Playwright or Cypress using TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python. - Deep understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger, authorization, tokens, idempotency). - Experience in writing test cases, checklists, bug reports. - Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI or GitHub Actions). - Understanding of client-server architecture, ability to localize problems. - English language at B1 level or higher (reading documentation, correspondence). - Willingness to take responsibility for product quality. Will be a plus: - Experience testing messengers, real-time systems, Matrix. - Experience with Electron applications. - Load testing experience. - Team management experience (hiring, mentoring, KPI). - Knowledge of GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes.
