QA Engineer

QA Engineer to strengthen testing in the Store Management Center cluster. Work on three key areas: task issuance workstation, parameter management, and support tool. Stack: Java, Gradle, Hibernate, YandexCloud, Rest-Assured, TestOps, Kafka, Postman. Office in Moscow, Krasnodar, Saint Petersburg, Innopolis or remote in Russia.

The team is responsible for three key areas: • Task issuance workstation — receives tasks from external systems and delivers them to store employee devices. • Parameter management — centrally changes constants and settings across the network: from operating hours to cash register configurations. • Support tool — manually loads data into store databases when waiting for nightly loading is not possible (e.g., when opening a new store). Work in sprints, tasks between frontend and backend are distributed approximately 50/50. Currently about 15% of automated tests, and we plan to increase automation. Team composition: manager, frontend/backend developers, analysts, tester (we are looking for).

• Confident knowledge of Java • Experience with Git version control system • Practical experience testing web and backend parts of systems • Understanding of development and testing processes • Ability to systematize work on planning and executing tests • Experience with any task trackers (we use Jira) • Experience/understanding of working with Scrum • Ability to systematize defect documentation • Ability to prioritize tested subsystems and defect types according to business criticality • Ability to work with undocumented systems • Understanding of testing types and their purpose • Experience writing test cases and creating test models, proficiency in test design techniques Nice to have: • Experience in exploratory and load testing • Knowledge of multiple programming languages • Experience using AI agents for testing tasks
