QA Engineer (Senior/TL)

Senior/TL QA Engineer for banking/fintech projects in Russia. Requires 4+ years in testing, 2+ years in banking/fintech, AI tools proficiency.

Responsibilities: - Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and carry out their review; - Prepare and maintain test environments and test data; - Perform manual functional and integration testing, register defects; - Analyze and verify the elimination of defects identified at all testing stages, acceptance, and operation; - Interact with related teams to ensure the target quality of the product; - Conduct PSI (presumably, pre-sales interviews); - Together with the team, decompose implementation tasks into testing works, estimate testing effort.

Requirements: - Experience as a tester for at least 4 years; - Mandatory: experience in the banking sector or fintech company (at least 2 years); - Experience in team leadership or leading a testing group (at least 1 year) - a significant advantage; - Experience in mentoring junior specialists; - Experience in writing test cases from technical documentation from scratch, conducting testing according to others' test cases; - Experience with applications on microservice architecture; - Functional testing, including web; - Knowledge of software lifecycle and testing theory; - Experience in testing integration interactions (REST, MQ, Kafka); - Knowledge of SQL, ability to write queries to databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL), use testing utilities; - Understanding of HTTP, HTTPS protocols, REST API; - Knowledge of XML, JSON data formats. - Tools: Sfera, Jira, Confluence, TestIT, Postman, PostgreSQL, KafkaTool, MQ Explorer. - Mandatory: confident use of AI tools: - Prompt engineering for generating test data; - Using AI to analyze logs and error traces; - Applying AI tools for API test automation. Preferred requirements: - Leadership experience; - Experience in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates. Additional technical skills: - Experience in test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.); - Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift; - Experience in load testing; - Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.
