QA Engineer (maternity cover)

QA Engineer (maternity cover) at NSIS (Bank of Russia subsidiary), Moscow, hybrid 2 days/week. Salary up to 230,000 RUB net/month plus annual bonus. Main focus: REST API testing, test design, Postman, SQL.

NSIS is a subsidiary of the Bank of Russia. The role focuses on software testing, mainly REST API. Responsibilities: - Test design: creating and maintaining test cases, updating the existing test case base, controlling coverage completeness. - Updating and maintaining regression Postman collections in the area of responsibility. - Developing test documentation. - Software testing (mainly REST API): executing and debugging test sets via Postman Runner. - Analyzing and comparing regular regression run results during release testing. - Participating in demos and acceptance testing, preparing results. - Test analysis: participating in the third-line process, analyzing software behavior in different environments, registering bugs, and consulting colleagues from related departments.

Higher technical education (completed) is required. 3+ years of experience in testing. Understanding of the software lifecycle, testing goals and types. Knowledge of testing methodology and the purpose of test documentation. Proficiency: - REST API tools (Postman or similar; familiarity with variables, functions, snippets, etc. is a plus). - Scripting languages (JS, TS, Python). - SQL at a basic level (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE). Experience: - API testing (REST, SOAP). - Using task trackers (JIRA or similar) and test management tools (TestRail, Allure TestOps, TestIT or similar). - Developing and maintaining test documentation (scenarios, cases, etc.).

Employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Salary: up to 230,000 RUB net per month + annual bonus + annual indexation (discussed).
