Python Developer (Middle/Senior)

Alfa-Bank is looking for a Middle/Senior Python Developer for remote work. Develop streaming data services for ML models using Python, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.

Develop streaming data processing services for ML models: receive events from Kafka, compute and update features, and provide them to models in real time. Design and deploy microservices in Python (FastAPI, asyncio) in Kubernetes. Maintain, improve, and scale running services: stability, observability, fault tolerance. Together with the team, analyze customer needs and turn them into engineering solutions.

Commercial Python development experience from 4 years, confident asyncio. Commercial experience with FastAPI. PostgreSQL: schema design and query writing; SQLAlchemy as ORM, Alembic for migrations. Docker and Kubernetes: deployed and operated own services. Kafka — understand key mechanisms: producers and consumers, partitions and consumer groups, what happens during failure and message redelivery. Nice to have: Redis, experience with other message brokers (RabbitMQ, Redis Streams), understanding of ML pipelines and why models need fresh data; interest in LLM.
