An indie studio is seeking a systematic PM who understands Jira but is ready to apply their skills not in game design, but in managing PR teams and information campaigns. We need someone who can translate the chaos of press releases, approvals, and special projects into understandable sprints and roadmaps.

Experience in PR project management or community management: 1-3 years. Or experience as a technical PM who wants to transition into game marketing. Responsibilities (projected onto PR): - Managing PR tasks in Jira+Confluence (maintaining a database of media/blogger contacts, publication funnels). - Compiling a release calendar (PR roadmap) and weekly/monthly sprints. - Daily task distribution within the team (PR specialist, copywriter, SMM, translator). - Organizing effective communication between the studio (developers) and the outside world (journalists, bloggers, platforms). - Timely informing management about risks (breach of agreements, negative publications, delays in approvals). - Keeping records of calls with contractors/partners and sending follow-ups. - Monitoring the correctness of reports (e.g., PR coverage reports, media clippings). - Tracking compliance with NDAs and brand guidelines in messengers (Slack, Telegram) when communicating with influencers. Knowledge and skills: - Experience in automating routine tasks: chatbots for distributing mockups, setting up notifications in n8n for deadline control on posts. - Use of AI tools for preparing press releases, transcribing interviews (MCP, Whisper, Claude). - Skill in configuring Jira+Confluence for PR processes (custom statuses: 'mockup with blogger', 'awaiting feedback from media', 'publication released'). - Experience working with complex stakeholders (capricious bloggers, toxic community, demanding publisher) - finding compromises without losing reputation. - Ability to defend the studio's strategic position against external agencies. - Understanding of the gaming industry and game development cycle (knowing when to make noise: pre-announcement, alpha, pre-release). - Tools: Slack (incident channels), Notion (knowledge base for influencers), Miro (event map), Google Docs (collaborative press releases).
