Project Manager (Execution Lead) for a fast-growing fintech platform serving high-risk merchants (Gaming, Forex, Crypto) in Africa, Latin America, and CIS. 1. Support execution in the African region: Planning: Translate regional leadership initiatives into concrete action plans. Coordination: Work with legal (structures, contracts), finance (P&L, budgets), compliance (regulation), tech department (integrations, API), and sales. Licensing: Support projects in Africa from document preparation to regulatory approval. Launch front shops: Full cycle from company registration to payment acceptance (models 7995 and licensed points with 5-6% commission). Provider integration: Conduct due diligence, sign contracts, technical integration, and go-live. 2. Manage global initiatives: Submit license applications in Africa. PCI DSS certification projects. Launch products in new regions and integrate partners (local payment methods, global PSPs, crypto providers). 3. Connect ideas and results: Liaise between regional leadership and headquarters. Problem-solving: Your work is considered complete when the first transaction occurs or revenue targets are met. 4. Build execution infrastructure: Develop project management standards, templates, and workflows. Implement metrics and reporting systems. Conduct post-mortem sessions to improve processes.
Experience: 3–5+ years in project/program management in a business context (not just IT). Fintech Expertise: You understand how payments and processing work. Results-oriented: Proven track record of completing complex projects. Coordination skills: You know how to get lawyers, financiers, and developers to move in sync. Languages: Fluent English and Russian/Ukrainian. Highly valued: Experience with licensing or compliance certification. Knowledge of emerging markets (Africa, Latin America). Technical background (understanding of APIs, payment infrastructure). Startup experience and willingness to work in conditions of uncertainty.
Influence: Key role in the company's global expansion. Interaction: Direct work with the CEO and top management. Development: Deep dive into all aspects of the business (from licenses to product).
