Principal Fullstack Developer (React, Python)

Positive Technologies is looking for a Senior/Principal Fullstack Developer with 6+ years of experience. Remote/hybrid/office work, full-time.

Develop the full cycle of development: from identifying business needs and gathering requirements to design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Independently interact with many stakeholders: product teams, architects, experts, network engineers, and related departments. Design the architecture of complex solutions considering the distributed nature of systems, data consistency, and interaction between services. Develop backend services in Python using FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL. Implement asynchronous interaction between services, work with event-driven architecture, message queues, and data consistency patterns, including Saga and Transactional Outbox. Develop user interfaces in React, TypeScript, and Next.js, going from UX to finished functionality independently. Design and implement complex user scenarios, including integrations between multiple services and ensuring correct data synchronization. Independently organize testing: write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, check interaction scenarios of components, and refine solutions based on testing results. Develop and improve existing architecture, find technical limitations, and propose solutions that increase reliability and development speed. Actively use AI tools, including Claude, at all stages of development: codebase research, solution design, code writing, testing, and refactoring.

Experience developing complex systems and designing architectures, including in a distributed infrastructure with multiple services. Solid backend development experience in Python, understanding of modern approaches to building APIs and asynchronous applications. Experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2+, and Redis. Understanding of event-driven architecture, message brokers, and reliable inter-service interaction patterns. Familiarity with RabbitMQ, FastStream, Saga, and Transactional Outbox. Fullstack development experience: understanding frontend architecture, practical experience with React and TypeScript. Familiarity with Next.js. Understanding of distributed systems principles: data consistency, error handling, retries, idempotency, and failure management in service interaction. Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, ability to independently build and deploy an application, troubleshoot network problems and verify the solution. Active use of AI in development.
