Principal Fullstack Developer (React, Python)

Positive Technologies is seeking a Principal Fullstack Developer with 6+ years of experience. Full-time, remote, hybrid, or office. Key technologies: React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities: - Lead full-cycle development from business needs and requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and deployment. - Interact with a large number of stakeholders: product teams, architects, experts, network engineers, and related departments. - Design architecture of complex solutions considering distributed system nature, data consistency, and inter-service interactions. - Develop backend services in Python using FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL. - Implement asynchronous inter-service communication, event-driven architecture, message queues, and data consistency patterns including Saga and Transactional Outbox. - Develop user interfaces in React, TypeScript, and Next.js, from UX design to ready functionality. - Design and implement complex user scenarios, including integrations between multiple services and correct data synchronization. - Organize testing: write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, verify component interaction scenarios, and refine solutions based on results. - Improve existing architecture, identify technical limitations, and propose solutions that enhance reliability and development speed. - Actively use AI tools, including Claude, at all development stages: codebase research, solution design, coding, testing, and refactoring.

Experience in developing complex systems and designing architecture, including distributed infrastructure and multi-service interactions. - Solid backend development experience in Python, understanding of modern API and async application approaches. - Experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2+, and Redis. - Understanding of event-driven architecture, message brokers, and reliable inter-service communication patterns. Familiarity with RabbitMQ, FastStream, Saga, and Transactional Outbox. - Fullstack development experience: understanding of frontend architecture, practical experience with React and TypeScript. Familiarity with Next.js. - Understanding of distributed systems principles: data consistency, error handling, retries, idempotency, and failure management. - Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, ability to assemble and deploy an application independently, troubleshoot network issues, and verify functionality. - Active use of AI in development. Not just interest in tools, but real experience applying them in daily work, understanding limitations, and concrete examples of how AI helps solve engineering tasks.
