Performance Engineer (Junior+)

CrowdTesting is hiring a Junior+ Performance Engineer for a major Russian bank project. Remote, salary 80-100k RUB/month.

Key tasks: - Develop and support JMeter load testing scenarios - Conduct load testing of information systems and services - Prepare and configure load profiles - Conduct tests to find maximum system performance - Analyze load test results and key performance indicators - Work with monitoring systems and analyze metrics - Execute SQL queries for test data preparation and DB analysis - Work in Linux environment, use commands and scripts for testing and analysis - Participate in finding causes of performance degradation

Requirements: - 6+ months of load testing experience - Practical experience with Apache JMeter - Understanding of JMeter components and their application - Experience with various Thread Groups in JMeter - Knowledge of parameterization and correlation in load scenarios - Experience with Assertions - Understanding of load generation principles and pacing - Understanding of load testing metrics (percentile, response time, throughput, RPS/TPS) - Understanding of maximum performance testing methodology - Basic SQL knowledge, including JOIN queries - Basic understanding of Apache Kafka - Linux skills and basic commands - Scripting skills Nice to have: - Grafana experience (metrics analysis, dashboards, monitoring) - Experience with monitoring systems setup or usage - Experience in performance analysis of applications, databases, and infrastructure
