Network Engineer (Senior)

Senior Network Engineer for a project developing modern Ethernet switches for data centers. Remote (RF) or office/hybrid. Responsibilities include developing and configuring network test schemes and troubleshooting network equipment.

Project: development of a line of modern Ethernet switches for data centers (complex architecture, many services). Supported functionality: MC-LAG, BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, VPN, VRRP, LACP, etc. Tasks: • Development, configuration, and description of network test schemes (switches/routers) • Troubleshooting network equipment and networks

• Experience as a network engineer for 4+ years • Knowledge of network protocols and IP network technologies • Good knowledge of Linux (CLI, program/interface configuration) • Diagnostics/traffic analysis: ping/traceroute/tcpdump/Wireshark/iperf • Traffic generators/analyzers: IXIA/Spirent/TRex • Python/Bash (scripts) + Docker • Understanding of SDN / Open vSwitch • Experience: troubleshooting + test schemes (switch/router) • Emulators: VIRL / PT / GNS3 / EVE-NG
