ML Engineer in Pricing

Wildberries is hiring an ML Engineer for Pricing. Experience: 3+ years. Work format: hybrid or remote (Moscow). Focus on matching core, NLP, and ML models.

Develop the matching core: retrieval of candidates using text, image, and multimodal embeddings, train pair classification models, work with product attributes. Improve the NLP part of the pipeline considering wholesale product specifics: processing names, extracting attributes from descriptions, fine-tuning embedding models. Bring solutions to production and be responsible for them.

Strong understanding of NLP: transformer models, embeddings, vector search, experience fine-tuning models for specific tasks. Experience in matching tasks. Experience in Data Science and ML Engineering with model deployment to production for 3+ years. Confident knowledge of Python, ML stack, SQL. Ability to choose the right solution for the task: not use neural networks where heuristics suffice, and vice versa. Experience with CV and multimodal models (CLIP-like, metric learning), LLM/VLM in classification/ranking tasks is a plus.
