Middle/Senior Business/System Analyst

International iGaming company seeks Middle/Senior Business/System Analyst in Cyprus (Limassol), office/remote. Translate product requirements into technical specs and support features to release. Flexible schedule. Salary discussed individually.

Work at the intersection of product and development: elaborate product requirements, turn them into clear technical specifications, and support features until release. Responsibilities: • Elaborate product and business requirements together with product managers and the team. • Decompose requirements and turn them into documentation and tasks for development. • Describe business logic, user scenarios, constraints, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. • Work through API and integration interactions between systems. • Conduct grooming/refinement of tasks with developers and QA. • Answer team questions during implementation and update requirements when changes occur. • Participate in functional acceptance of implemented functionality. • Independently verify API, data, and system behavior when investigating tasks and defects. • Maintain technical and product documentation up to date.

Required skills: • Experience as a Business/System Analyst at Middle or Senior level. • Ability to translate product requirements into concrete technical specifications. • Understanding of REST API and system integration principles. • Postman. • SQL. • Git. • Protobuf / understanding of gRPC. • Ability to read technical documentation, API schemas, and logs. • Understanding of client-server architecture, backend/frontend interaction. • Ability to describe processes and system interactions: sequence diagrams, BPMN/UML or similar tools. Nice to have: • Technical or engineering background. • Knowledge of any programming language. • Experience with Kafka or other message brokers. • Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger. • Experience with microservice architecture. • Ability to independently localize a problem: check requests, data, logs and determine at which level the error occurred.
