Middle Game Analyst at DreamVR for a mobile rhythm arcade game. Focus on monetization analysis, A/B testing, and game economy balancing. Remote/hybrid/office options available. Full-time.

DreamVR is looking for an analyst for a mobile rhythm arcade game with a unique gameplay and deep monetization system. The project is in the vertical slice stage, with pre-soft launch and active internal/external testing phases approaching. We are seeking a candidate with experience in mobile F2P monetization analysis who will work closely with the monetization game designer and producer, helping to make data-driven decisions: from balancing the game economy to evaluating the effectiveness of mechanics through A/B tests. Experience as an analyst in mobile F2P game development for at least 2 years (midcore or hybrid projects). Understanding of midcore genre mechanics (rhythm games, arcades, progression systems, core loop and retention drivers). Experience with Firebase / Google Analytics: event tracking, working with funnels and cohorts. Proficient in SQL (BigQuery or equivalent) - ability to write queries for cohort analysis and data slicing. Understanding of monetization metrics: LTV, ARPU/ARPPU, conversion, unit economics. Experience with A/B testing: hypothesis formulation, statistical significance, result interpretation. Ability to work with game economy: balance of resources, currencies, progression, and their impact on retention and monetization. Will be a big plus: Experience with AppMagic or similar market intelligence tools. Identifying genre trends, top charts, competitor profitability. Knowledge of Unreal Engine (from the perspective of event tracking and analytics integration). Python experience (Pandas, basic statistics) and BI tools (Tableau / Looker Studio). Understanding of UA metrics (CPI, ROAS, attribution). Experience with soft-launch or live-ops projects. Effective use of AI tools
