Literary Editor

Literary editor for an art publication «Artguide». Tasks include evaluating and editing art texts, fact-checking, and collaborating with authors. Project-based with potential for permanent cooperation.

We are looking for a literary editor to work with texts about art. It is important for us that the editor not only confidently works with language and style but also pays careful attention to thematic specifics — artworks, artists, and the context (historical and cultural) they are about.

Experience in literary editing; literacy, developed sense of language, and attention to detail; ability to see the text as a whole: evaluate its idea, structure, argumentation, and compliance with the task; fact-checking skills and responsible attitude to sources (including visual material); interest in art; love for texts and desire to make them better and more interesting for the reader. Experience with texts about art, culture, architecture, design, or history will be an advantage.

Project-based employment with the prospect of permanent cooperation; flexible work format; decent remuneration corresponding to experience and level of tasks.
