Lead ML Engineer (NLP)
Lead ML Engineer (NLP) at SberHealth. Manage a team of developers and researchers in ML solutions projects. Remote or office-based. Requires 5+ years of commercial development, including 1-2 years as a team lead, strong Python skills, and ML/Data Science libraries.
Lead a team of developers and researchers in projects for creating and implementing ML solutions; Participate in the design of ML system architecture, selection of technological stack and approaches to problem-solving; Ensure code quality and adherence to best engineering practices (code review, testing, CI/CD); Interact with business customers and analysts to clarify requirements and set tasks; Control the execution of project stages, plan tasks and estimate deadlines; Develop team expertise, mentor junior specialists, participate in hiring; If necessary, independently participate in the development of key components (R&D, prototyping, implementation).
Commercial development experience of 5+ years, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead role. Deep knowledge of Python and core libraries for ML and Data Science (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, PyTorch / TensorFlow, etc.) Confident knowledge of libraries for service development: FastAPI, Celery, Pydantic, asyncio, etc. Experience in building and implementing ML models in production (support, monitoring, and scaling solutions). Knowledge of microservice architecture principles, REST API, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Experience with docker, k8s, helm, git, CI/CD (including writing pipelines for code deployment). Ability to organize the team development process: task setting, code review, planning, progress tracking. Understanding of the full ML product lifecycle stages: from data collection to model deployment. Nice to have: - Experience with ML Ops approaches, SQL/NoSQL knowledge, - Experience in Agile teams; - Experience in calculating service TCO and knowledge of performance metrics collection methodologies.
